TrendWire is an independent digital news magazine built for readers who want the world's trending stories without the noise. Our tagline says it plainly: trending stories the world is talking about.
What we do
Every day, our editors scan the global news agenda — wire services, major newspapers and broadcasters across the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia — and identify the stories that are genuinely gaining momentum. We then report them in our own words, in clear English, with the original source credited on every article.
Who we write for
TrendWire is written for an international, English-speaking audience, with a particular focus on readers in the United States and the United Kingdom who want one fast, trustworthy place to catch up on world, entertainment, sports, technology and lifestyle news.
Our standards
- Original writing. Every story on TrendWire is written by our desk. We never copy another outlet's article text.
- Credit where due. When a story is based on a specific outlet's reporting, that outlet is named in a source line at the end of the article.
- Human approval. TrendWire uses software to gather candidate stories, but no story is published without a human editor reviewing it against our Editorial Policy.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction on the story itself, under our Corrections Policy.
- Clear labeling. Advertising on TrendWire is always labeled "Advertisement."
How we are funded
TrendWire is a free publication. We plan to fund it through advertising, including Google AdSense once our account is approved and configured; until then, the ad positions on this site show labeled placeholders. Advertising never influences which stories we cover or how we cover them.
