Chicago Bulls storm back from early deficit to beat Milwaukee Bucks in NBA

The Chicago Bulls rallied from 15 points down to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 132-125 at Fiserv Forum on Friday, with Norman Powell scoring 25 points.

The Chicago Bulls recovered from a 15-point deficit to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 132-125 at Fiserv Forum on Friday, turning a slow start into a hard-fought road win.

Milwaukee seized control early, racing to a 19-6 lead on Tyler Herro's first three-pointer and stretching the advantage to 32-17 by the end of the first quarter. The Bucks still led 44-31 midway through the second quarter before Chicago answered with a 16-0 run, moving ahead 55-51 on a Buddy Hield three-pointer. A Kyle Kuzma layup in the final seconds of the half gave Milwaukee a narrow 62-61 edge at the break.

The lead changed hands again in the third quarter. Milwaukee moved five points clear late in the period, but Jalen Smith beat the buzzer with a dunk to cut the gap to 104-102 entering the fourth. Chicago then scored the first six points of the final quarter, taking a 108-104 lead on a slam by rookie Caleb Wilson, and stretched the margin to eight on another Hield three-pointer with 7:19 remaining.

Milwaukee fought back once more, with Herro hitting back-to-back three-pointers to put the Bucks back in front. Wilson responded with two free throws for a 124-123 lead with 1:16 left, then added two more after Tre Jones stole a pass from Ryan Rollins. A missed Herro three and two Powell free throws opened a five-point cushion with 20 seconds left, and a Wilson steal followed by two Jones foul shots sealed the result.

Powell led Chicago with 25 points, while Wilson added 21, Leonard Miller scored 19, and Smith finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Hield added 13, Isaac Okoro 12, and Jones contributed 11 points and eight assists. Herro paced Milwaukee with 34 points, Jaime Jaquez Jr. had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Kyle Kuzma scored 14. The loss was Milwaukee's second straight to open the season, while Chicago bounced back from a 43-point defeat by the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
